Built in 1927 in NYC as a deluxe movie palace, the Palladium operated as a cinema through the early 70s, when it began booking rock bands. It found national acclaim with The Band live radio broadcast, and went on to host almost every national touring act until its demise, including The Rolling Stones, Kiss, Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, Def Leppard, Duran Duran and U2.
