The Stone Toad in Milwaukee was a music club that hosted local and national blues and rock acts throughout the 70s and 80s. During the disco craze, the Stone Toad turned the downstairs into a disco, while still booking live music acts upstairs. The name went through several iterations including Stone Toad Cafe, and simply The Toad, but no matter what changed, it remained…a Toad.
