Founded in 1942, Embassy Pictures was an American independent film production and distribution studio responsible for producing a plethora of movies that helped to shape American cinema in the latter half of the 20th century, including The Graduate, The Producers, The Lion in Winter, Time Bandits and This is Spinal Tap, to name a few.
