The mixture of classes, race and age that showed up to this crowded, dingy cave to buy copious amounts of beverages and sweatify the ceiling to an all-too-often cheesy DJ set, was legendary. Rockbar was a beautifully divey backdrop for an eclectic clientele — frat boys to hipsters, badass broads planning new ink to uptight prisses letting their hair down; basketball players, downtown suits, tall tees and nerd glasses, Rockbar made Denver feel a little bigger.
