Opened in 1905, Capital City Brewing Company was the last of the big breweries to open in Indianapolis before prohibition. They brewed Frauenlob Beer, whose advertising slogan was “T.T. — Taste Tells”. Well…at least their logo was great. In 1918, Prohibition hit, and the brewery was closed and converted into cold storage for meat.
