Cinema 4 Center Mug

Cinema 4 Center Mug
$17.00
Opened in 1970, Cinema 4 Center was the first four-screen indoor cinema in the St. Louis area. In 1970, “Sensurround” speakers were installed for the run of the disaster film “Earthquake”, which emitted low frequency sound waves to simulate earthquake vibrations. Two weeks into the movie’s run, the vibrations caused a huge cinderblock to fall from the ceiling. Luckily the seats below were empty, or it might have been a real disaster movie.
