Opened in 1938, Fond du Lac's iconic “destination” restaurant, Schreiner’s, was a casual eatery serving up old-world friendliness and comfort food made with traditional family recipes. Known for their clam chowder, baked goods and house-made root beer, Schreiner’s was known to “serve great food at a fair price and treat customers and employees as family.”
