Opened in 1954 in Santa Monica, Zucky’s (pronounced “Zooky’s”) exemplified the space-age mid-century architecture that was popular in LA in the 50s. Residents fondly recall visiting Zucky's, one of the few Santa Monica coffee shops open 24 hours a day, and noshing on classic Jewish deli favorites, the “perfect” breakfast plate and ice cream sundaes.
