Opened in 1950 in College Park, a suburb of Atlanta, the Roosevelt Drive-In had a 500-car-capacity and featured a very impressive art deco marquee. It frequently showed sci-fi and horror movies during the 50s and 60s, as well as a generous helping of lighter family fare. It was an extremely popular and well-run theatre during the golden age of drive-ins.
