Opened in 1976, Mississippi Nights was a music club in St. Louis that played host to literally hundreds of superstar touring acts of literally all genres, and for many years it was the only place in town to hear new music. They weren’t a rock club, a punk club, a blues club, a jazz club, a hip-hop club, or a country club — they were a music club.
