Hot Sam Pretzels was a chain of soft pretzel franchises, and in its heyday there were over 175 locations around the country. Hot Sam is widely considered to be the OG mall pretzel store. It filled the food void of quick snack options and made a whole wing of most malls smell like buttery, salty heaven.
