Lucky Strike, a shabby-chic bistro in NYC, served French-ish comfort food to SoHo locals for 31 years. There was no more lived-in dining room in NYC than here: the patina on the menu-adorned mirrors was very real and the wood and leather accents had all seen better days. And yet: to linger there with a plate of steak-frites and a few glasses of French red wine was divine.
