Since 1988, Rebel Rebel had been one of the old school NYC record shops seemingly around since the dawn of time — an overstuffed closet of musical goodness. The walls were lined with posters and records from bands that hadn't seen a recording studio in years. Vinyl was everywhere, promo posters were sold out of a box for $2 apiece. It was one of those places where a vinyl geek just felt at home.
