Cardi’s was a bare bones music venue in Houston in the 80s. Hard core rock and metal devotees loved Cardi’s, who frequently booked many iconic bands just before they went global. Here, fans had the opportunity to see their favorite new acts, including U2, Cheap Trick, Iggy Pop, Modern English, INXS, Metallica and Megadeth, up close and personal.
