Founded in 1900 by brothers Pat and James Foley in Houston, Foley’s became a part of Houston’s landscape for over 100 years, and a leading department store chain in the South. Many a Houstonian remembers waiting in the Foley’s aisles while Mom perused the fragrances or hosiery, or being dragged to the children’s department to buy a new pair of Toughskins jeans for the new school year.
