The Laff Stop comedy club originated in Newport Beach, and eventually grew to five locations in CA and Texas. Booking nearly every touring and comedian of the day, the Laff Stop became a beloved institution — it was the comedian’s church…but with sex, drugs, cursing and drinking, of course.
