Rich’s opened in 1983 and was known as the Studio 54 of the south. Rich's was the largest LGBT nightclub in Houston and one of the few remaining LGBT mega-clubs in the nation. In addition to playing nonstop beats, Rich's hosted many iconic performers like Cyndi Lauper, Boy George, Bette Midler, Taylor Dayne, Grace Jones...twice!
