The North Door in East Austin was an ever-evolving, eclectic live performance lounge — where comedy specials for Netflix and Showtime were filmed; where “Game of Thrones” was shown and the line was around the building; where that raging NYE party was; where Nerd Nite, Bedpost Confessions and Astronomy on Tap happened, and where Peligrosa performed on the third Friday of every month. It was that place.
